AXYNAO LLC is a gallery and cultural platform in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, founded in 2026 by Erik Kling, working through the Architecture of Placement and the Architecture of Knowledge under one inquiry, The Architecture of Meaning.
The Architecture of Placement examines where art belongs and how placement shapes context, meaning, and value, including the representation and placement of contemporary art in architectural, hospitality, and institutional settings. The Architecture of Knowledge develops frameworks for institutional judgment, recognition, provenance, custody, access, preservation, and the conditions under which knowledge and meaning survive across institutions and time. Its published instruments include the AXYNAO Epistemic Sovereignty Quadrant and the Institutional Knowledge Custody Covenant. AXYNAO also publishes essays and Architectures of Memory · AXYNAO, the podcast of AXYNAO and an audio expression of The Architecture of Meaning, exploring its questions across art, knowledge, institutions, memory, and time.
Both begin with the same concern: preserving contextual dignity and the conditions for human flourishing.
Architecture of Placement
AXYNAO represents a focused roster of contemporary artists and works with collectors, galleries, architects, hospitality environments, workplaces, and cultural institutions. The platform evaluates the relationship between artwork, architecture, scale, light, atmosphere, and long-term livability. Placement is treated as part of the work because a painting does not enter an empty wall; it enters a complete human environment.
Artist selection is guided by AXYNAO's Selection Framework and Curatorial Framework. The objective is coherence rather than volume: work with sufficient presence, material integrity, and conceptual depth to remain meaningful after the first visual impact has passed.
Architecture of Knowledge
AXYNAO also develops essays, podcasts, covenants, evidence frameworks, and institutional inquiries concerned with how meaning is recognized, preserved, and transmitted. This work examines institutional judgment, provenance, knowledge custody, source access, memory, and the ability of people and institutions to reach independent conclusions in the age of artificial intelligence.

Erik's Art Studio is where the work originates through an artistic practice focused on energy, time, material, and the invisible structures shaping human experience. AXYNAO brings art and meaning into curatorial, architectural, and institutional contexts. AXISYNC Partners examines how decisions, infrastructure, and systems preserve or restrict optionality.

Erik Kling — Founder
Erik Kling founded AXYNAO in 2026. He is an abstract artist, systems thinker, and the CEO and Managing Partner of AXISYNC Partners LLC. Before founding his current platforms, he spent nearly three decades building and leading technology businesses, including serving as President and Director of Vodafone IoT Americas. He holds a Diplom-Ökonom degree from the University of Hohenheim.
Through AXYNAO, Erik writes and speaks on art, institutional memory, human optionality, and the architecture of meaning. He hosts as well the Podcast Architectures of Memory · AXYNAO and develops the platform's philosophical and institutional frameworks. His artistic practice is presented through Erik's Art Studio.
Ainhoa Fernández — Lead Curator
Ainhoa Fernández is AXYNAO's Curator. Based in Madrid, she is an art advisor and the founder of AF Art Advisory and AF The Studio. She also created and hosts Art Bites Podcast, a Spanish-language podcast devoted to contemporary art and the people and institutions shaping it.
At AXYNAO, Ainhoa leads artist selection, curatorial development, gallery relationships, placement strategy, and the platform's engagement with collectors, fairs, museums, and cultural institutions. She also develops conversations with the artists represented by AXYNAO and helps translate the platform's curatorial principles into practice.

How AXYNAO Works
AXYNAO works selectively. Artists are reviewed as bodies of work rather than as isolated images. Placements begin with the purpose and architecture of the space, not with an empty wall. Institutional work begins with the integrity of sources, provenance, and human judgment. Across both wings, AXYNAO asks the same question: what architectures preserve meaning?
